He said this while urging Nigerians and his followers to disregard rumors that he had been transported outside the nation for medical care.

An enormous group of jubilant friends and supporters thronged the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport in Abuja to welcome Tinubu when his private plane landed there.
Seyi Tinubu, his son, and his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, who was also wearing a blue agbada, were with him.
Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima, House Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila, Governors Simon Lalong (Plateau), Abubakar Sani-Bello (Niger), and former Governor of Borno State Ali Modu Sheriff were among those waiting to greet him at the airport.
An ecstatic Tinubu told the raucous audience that had followed him home to disregard some of the rumors that had been circulating for the past month that he had been flown abroad due to purported health issues.
He claims that after a busy campaign and election season, he actually departed the nation on March 21 for vacation.

He reassured that while being in Paris, he never stopped working and continued “consulting and planning” in order to assemble a capable team for when he takes office on May 29.
